Sarah Turner

Classroom Pedagogy

Sarah is Head of Professional Development Programmes in the Teaching and Learning Division at Cambridge Assessment International Education.  Her day to day role is to manage the strategic development and ongoing quality improvement of Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications (PDQs) which are currently offered in over 200 schools worldwide.

Prior to joining Cambridge International, Sarah worked as an English teacher and then a Department Head in a range of UK schools.  

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of East Anglia, she completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Cambridge and she is currently studying for a Masters in Educational Leadership at the Institute of Education in London.

Sarah will conduct a session on classroom management. In this session the participants will learn the importance of self-evaluation as part of the reflective process and will discuss strategies and tools for making sure that self-evaluation is targeted, simple and impactful.
